With over 2 decades of experience as a Florida family law attorney, Stephanie specializes in providing personalized legal representation for all of your family law needs. Originally from Polk County, Florida, Stephanie graduated from Converse College, in Spartanburg, South Carolina, before returning home to obtain her Juris Doctor degree from Stetson University College of Law. She began her legal career representing the State of Florida Department of Revenue (DOR), Office for Child Support Enforcement, before entering private practice in Sarasota, Florida.

Stephanie has been a very active member of the thriving legal communities of Sarasota and Manatee Counties, having had the honor of being the President of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers in Sarasota, as well as the President of the Family Law Section of the Sarasota Bar Association. She was appointed by the Supreme Court of Florida for 2 terms on the Mediator Qualifications Discipline and Review Board, which is part of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Center for the Supreme Court, and has also enjoyed serving on the board of directors for the Sarasota Kiwanis Club and a local charter school.

In 2021, Stephanie became a Florida Supreme Court-certified family law mediator, and since that time, she has expanded her family law practice to include mediating family law disputes, as well as representing clients in collaborative divorce cases. While she enjoys helping Florida families find resolutions through settlement, both as an independent mediator and as a collaborative practitioner, Stephanie also enjoys helping clients navigate traditional family law cases, both in and out of the courtroom, with practice areas including divorce, paternity, property division, custody and parenting plans, spousal support, child support, enforcement and modification, step-parent and relative adoption, and prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.
